Saskatoon .NET User Group presents:

WinFX

WinFX represents change. It is the evolution of the Win32 API and provides a rock-solid foundation for building your “next big thing”. Consisting of the Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), the Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), the Windows Workflow Foundation (WinWF), and “InfoCard”, WinFX is landscape-changing in terms of Windows as a development platform. In this session, you’ll hear about these technologies and learn how to prepare for the future of Windows. Get ready!

John Bristowe is a Developer Evangelist with Microsoft Canada based in Calgary, Alberta. In addition to devoting much of his time towards community-based events and initiatives, John also produces two podcasts:

Plumbers at Work (http://www.plumbersatwork.com/) and Developer Night in Canada (http://www.dnic.ca/). John is an experienced speaker and frequently presents Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) events across Canada. Prior to joining Microsoft, John was a member of the Microsoft Regional Director (RD) and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) programs.
